Nousu ry short in english
Diving Club Nousu Ry has promoted safe diving since 1990.
We have a lot of activities throughout the year. We train according with the Finnish Diver Federations standards, which comply with CMAS and NAUI standards and have P1-P3 courses and specialized courses like nitrox & dry suit every year. We also arrange diving- and rebreather intros upon demand. We make diving trips on weekends and during the week with our diveboats Puntti and our aluminium boat Nousutar to visit various wrecks in the Finnish gulf area.
We arrange Diving camps throughout the year. The most popular is the week long summer camp in Hanko. We also make trips to the inland lakes as well as to foreign countries.
Our equipment is up to date and we have all gases used in techical diving available.
In 2008 we received the Annual Seal club Award in recognition of our active and innovative junior activities, which among others includes all levels of snorkeling courses and Underwater Rugby and hockey.
Nousu is aiming to offer something for everyone so we try to promote safe diving through education and to provide great experiences, and give support for beginners and experienced divers as well. We also co-operate with a diversity of other clubs both diving and safety related such as SAR.
